Induction Loops

The Disabilities Discrimination Act of 1995 says that it is unlawful for a service provider to discriminate against a disabled person. It requires a service provider or event organizer to take positive steps to make facilities or proceedings accessible to disabled people.

What are the implications?

As we understand it, it means that anyone who is hard of hearing and attends a meeting or event, or uses the facilities of a hotel, conference centre, community centre or function venue, must be given equal opportunity to hear or have the proceedings communicated to them.
Induction loop systems are a recognised way of achieving this by offering the means to hear through the T setting of a hearing aid.

We have systems available to accommodate all room sizes.
